Experience: Beck is a proud Bruin of UCLA, where she nabbed her B.A. in economics in an unprecedented two years. Immediately following her undergraduate degree, Beck obtained her MBA and a marketing specialization at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Business School, a US Today top 50 ranked business school, as the youngest graduate to date. Beck founded BAM Communications, her first company, in 2006 and has since founded two other businesses, Bite San Diego and Pangea Pal. In 2011, she won an Emmy for on camera hosting in a talk show format for her show, Next 500, and has also been a nominee for San Diego Magazine’s Women Who Move the City, the Metropolitan’s “40 under 40,” and the San Diego Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business. She is currently a member of Gen-Next, Entrepreneur’s Organization, and the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. She serves as a Big Brother/Big Sister of San Diego and on CONNECT’s Springboard panels.
