And boy, do we have a lot to talk about. First, the big return. Kevin Owens is back. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. We break it all down right here on the Busted Open Podcast.

The big match feel. You know, Tommy asked me about what match I like better, Cody and Punk. And I love Cody and Punk or Roman and Seth. And to me, it was Roman and Seth. Roman brings that big match feel. Remember John Cena, they called him Big Match John. But I think even more than Cena, there's just this aura around the match when it comes to Roman Reigns.
You hit the nail on the head with the word aura. He's godlike in the WWE. His entrance in and of itself, the walk to the ring, allowing everybody to take it in, the poise, the confidence, everything that comes with Roman Reigns. I mean, Roman Reigns looks the part, too. I mean, he looks like a Greek god out there. He's a great wrestler. Roman Reigns is the total package, and you can understand why he is at the top of the food chain in the WWE. Now, I just want to get into something that I really loved at the end of their match. I pointed out the stuff that I needed to point out because it's entirely too glaring to not mention. But there was a lot of, there was some subliminal stuff going on in that match that
And something that happened or was said that wasn't so subliminal was the announcers dropping the name Dean Ambrose. Dave, did you hear it?

Tommy, you heard it, right? Yes. So they mentioned Dean Ambrose. Okay. Interesting. Interesting. And then at the end, after all was said and done, after they looked each other, after they came together in the middle of the ring, when they put their fists together in the middle of the ring, there was a mask left right in the middle.
How did Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins create a 'big match feel' and reference The Shield?
It almost said to me like that mask represented Dean Ambrose. Maybe. Did anybody get that feel?
I mean, I just put it together because it was the end of the era for the three of them. It was a great final shot. They also did it when Seth Rollins hit the Dean Ambrose clothesline when he would, you know, go through the ropes, come back. And it was kind of like and a lot of that was throwback and owed to a lot of people. Same kind of what John Cena had done. During his retirement.
And he hit, I believe, too, he hit Dean's finisher in the match as well.
I look at things sometimes in a little bit of a different way. I almost felt like it was a smoke signal.
Come home. Wow. See, I looked at it differently than you did. I looked at it as that this is the end of the story. And if you're going to end the story, you have to acknowledge all of the players that are involved in the story. During that match, they went through every chapter of the Shield, from the start of the Shield to the breakup of the Shield, what happened at WrestleMania 40 between Seth and Roman, and everything that's been happening recently. If you're going to use the Shield as a backdrop, Then you have to acknowledge each member of the Shield, and I thought they did that last night.
You said that the story ended. If the story of the Shield, if the opportunity for the story of the Shield ever happened to have a chance all over again, do you think the WWE would tell that story? No. Really? I don't think so. I do.
I do. I do. If there was money to be had and there was a group that could, like, let's say the vision gets to the level where they wanted them to be, who's going to go after them? Hey, listen, there was another part for me that there was no Usos. There was no other bloodline members throughout that. That could have been addressed a little bit.
No, but that's interesting that you brought that up because I think it was about just the two of them and the shield and their backdrop and their story. I think they completely avoided the bloodline story in a lot of ways.
