When we talk about follow up to an amazing pay per view, we talk about follow up to a pay per view that was super duper late in the evening. Um but again, all around, really, really solid pay per view. Um it's hard to follow up, but AEW tonight did something that I really and truly feel is what will put it over the top. And I also, if I get into How deep the This roster of excellent workers really and truly are. Um Of like excellent wrestlers. Uh, we saw it in a lot of matches. This was a kind of a do over show in the sense of We just ended a major show and now we have new storylines to take over. And yes, we did have some uh carry over, which uh was enjoyable with uh and I will get into it with the casket match, um and uh
like the f there was really only one connecting match from Uh, the pay per view, which, you know, was that coffin match and then all the things started setting the tables to something else. But it really did go for how deep the roster is. But we'll talk about what happened at the main event where I keep talking about this. Um, what WWE is doing. And WWE, yes, they're having very, very solid wrestling matches, but people are hanging on to their words and they're keeping people invested into the product with kind of like a uh an ending where you have to tune in. We've been c talking about like uh Roman and Punk. And you know, who won that verbal battle and words have been carrying a lot more of um WWE and you know, even the words of the attack of the Cobra, the Cobra, I'm sorry, the Viper, um, Randy Orton, which takes us to my point of dynamite, uh awesome main event.
Uh and again when I talk about how stacked. The roster is. Um Rapungi Vice not on TV all the time. Uh what got me where I was so hooked and like Really into the New Japan product was the Young Bucks versus Rapungi Bi Vice and some of the matches they were having um when they were in New Japan. And it was the Young Bucks and Jack Perry uh versus the Don Calles family of uh Okada and Rapungi Vice. Also, ladies and gentlemen, I'm gonna give you an exclusive right here tonight. I don't know It's gonna happen within this hour, so you gotta stick with me. I will reveal the whereabouts of Don Calls. I have uh a lot of stooges using my insider information, which I never ever do, but I will get to the bottom of it.
I am getting confirmation real, real soon, and I just said, hey, can you do it before 11 o'clock? And I normally don't do this, but I will do it. Hopefully I'll get it uh in the second uh or the quarter of uh this show. So stay tuned about that. Back to this match and how deep the roster is. Kind of a cold match, but A great main event and a great match. It'll also go to something else I want to talk about later. I always try to wrap it up if you all speak and understand Crazy Dreamer. Um But nothing super duper like invested into this. But uh i again, great match. Uh took me back to why I fell in love with New Japan, w especially when I got Okada in there. Um Great showing with everybody. And first off, I also gotta say what great shape both the young bucks have gotten themselves into.
Nick perhaps is the leanest I've ever seen him, but that young man has gotten himself super muscular. So congratulations to him as well as his brother Matt, who's gotten thicker, more muscular, and you know, also dealing with you know, back issues, all that stuff, but continues to improve not only their work but their physique. Uh again, when anytime I see the young bucks I just I love 'em. I love them as men. Uh But I love watching them work because they're so innovative. And a lot of their stuff was exactly why I fell in love with that genre, that team, uh while they were doing stuff in New Japan and they brought that tonight on AEW's Dynamite. And it was just again, like I said, a cold match, match ends.
