Welcome to the Busted Open After Dark podcast. I'm your host, Tommy Dreamer. Solo gets kidnapped and the money in the bank qualifiers go awry, and I'm gonna talk about it right now.
This is the Busted Open Podcast.
We had an interesting Monday night raw. Uh so many threads there, which is cool because they gave me a whole heck of a lot to talk about. Sometimes when uh you're hosting these shows or before the shows, we have to have meetings and be like, what are we gonna talk about? And then Raw delivers. It's a completely different show from last week, which is what you want. But I think uh overall crowd completely different uh seem to get into the reaction during the matches, not right off the bat for some people, but main thread throughout the show was a lot. And how do you know someone is super freaking over
What happened to Solo Sikoa during the 946 kidnapping on RAW?
Because you don't even talk about him, but everyone is talking about him, and that is Roman Reigns and the world title. And every single storyline that we saw tonight encapsulated the world title. And if I start with, I will go to solo. Solo has been on a mission to deal with The bloodline, Roman, and now nine four six. We have Everybody has to get through something to get to that world title. Solo has a really big opportunity tonight. He has a money in the bank qualifier, which for me, he was my when this whole Money in the bank was announced. I said my number one guy was LA Knight and my number two guy was Solo. That has completely changed. Solo in a very nice, you know, he shows up, gets a nice reaction, yay.
Then we have something very, very interesting happen in a nice backstage with the Usos and Jacob Fatu, who have been dealing with this OTM and Royce Keys and 946 stuff each and every week. We have a different version, what happens, and a white flag is waved, and solo succumbs. Koa shows up in the back. Listen what I came
ready to tell y'all is Nine four six. They not gonna stop until everybody is finished. So we need to work together. As a teen. The teens. What you want back in the bloodline or something, solo? Huh? Cause it seems like you're looking for protection, little brother. That's real simple though, Solo. Two things you gotta do, oohs. Acknowledge me and Big Jim as the captains. And acknowledge Roman Reigns as your tribal chief, folks. Yeah. That's easy. Hands down. Yeah. Uh yeah, no, that ain't gonna happen. Man, then I suggest you turn around and walk about this room, Solo. I tell the drawing boards then. Man, he always Wrong or right, or whether you like it or not. Y'all just made a big mistake. How? What are you talking about?
We gotta do so.
There you have it. We are back. Um wow. Solo going to his brothers as well as Jacob. That was a big step. And The answer which we heard is hey, you basically gotta acknowledge Roman, which you s wouldn't do. Solo caused a lot of this problem and now he realizes like, hey, we need help. We're kind of back to where we were, but a different way. And I keep saying this. Everybody is way more over. Um Then we have Solo getting ready for his match with uh the Money in the Bank qualifier. So he gets what? A Money in the Bank briefcase for what? The world title against Roman and He has a nice little run in with LA Knight in the back. And that conversation, uh basically uh Andre, do we have the conversation or no? Okay.
So LA Knight's like, Hey man, let everybody crash and burn, and then we'll pick the bones. And when you win, you're not gonna cash in on me, right? And he's like, No, I'm not gonna cash in on you. Nice because you're my friend. Very, very cool, sweet, simple. Enjoyed that. Now we have another. cell phone version of our heels showing up, which I like. It's raw. It's gritty. I even like when they're passing the phone back and forth. It's uh really, really cool to see like It doesn't look like it's the great production that the WWE offers. It looks very real how what we also look on our phones all the time outside of A and AI because I don't know what the hell's real anymore. So but I like where they're doing with their passing of the phone, all that stuff, and basically saying, Hey, we're not gonna wait anymore.
