I thought today's episode of Impact was pretty damn good. And you want to know what I am particularly love the most? We had some really great women's wrestling as well as some good women's storylines that progressed. I want to shout out Danny Luna versus Lei Ying Lee. I had a really good time with that. Uh Marshade addressing Elena Black, Alicia Edwards. Uh she went ahead and re-signed with TNA Wrestling. That was another highlight for the women. Uh Jada Stone defeated Tasha Steeles.
What were the standout moments from the latest TNA Impact episode?
Jada Jones Jada Stone, excuse me, who is uh currently on fire right now on Impact Wrestling. I think she's got it off to a good start. But the segment that I most want to kick things off with today, oh, I love this so much, everybody. I'm so excited to talk about Mickey. James, somebody that everybody here on Busted Open is very, very familiar with. Mickey, who you guys know and love. And I was so thrilled to have her on the show today. They were in Nashville. So she had like her hardcore hunt country confrontation with Ash by Elegance. So the reason why I love this, besides me being a huge man. Mickey James fan was that I really loved how down and dirty and personal and ugly things got between Ash by Elegance and Mickey James.
So Ash by Elegance has been talking some smack on our girl Mickey James. And Mickey went out there and called her out. She said, you know what? If you want to do this, let's have a conversation. Woman to woman. And the best part about that. This was that Mickey James basically said, like, I thought you were my friend. You're out here saying these things. I thought you were my friend. And she brought up Ash by Elegance getting released by WWE and saying that she called Mickey James and said, What am I gonna do? What is gonna happen? You know, what am I gonna do with my career? And Mickey James said that she was the one who called Tommy Jones. Dreamer and told Tommy Dreamer to hire her friend Ash by elegance.
Now, Ash by Elegance then went off and was like, No, I was the hottest free agent. And everybody's like, Oh, oh girl, no, no, no. Do not no. And Mickey James basically told her the exact same thing: whatever you need to say to yourself to sleep that night. And it was really hilarious, actually, that. Whole bit, and then Mickey James brought up the fact that there was a while where uh Ash was fighting with people, well, fighting with legends rather with knockouts legends on Twitter. And she started saying, like, what are you doing? Like, are you a mark? Basically, saying, like, you're a mark if you're out there fighting on Twitter. And I thought it was hilarious, hilarious. And and it I feel like uh the term Mark doesn't
Often get thrown around within storylines. Like it's something that you taught like that is used outside, like you know, in the IWC in the wrestling community. We throw that word around. But I feel like within a storyline, it's not something you hear very often. So Mickey James calling her a mark definitely got a pop from the crowd. But I love this. And I I even though you know, unfortunately she was attacked, they uh they they distracted her by having the elegance brands confront her son who is backstage but my the funniest thing and I don't know if this came through andre I have a question for you I'm curious to see if you heard this part I recently got some new headphones so I can hear everything when I'm watching wrestling now there was a moment where when they showed the uh the elegance brand um going up to to making James's son
There was a fan that yelled, you shouldn't be around children to uh to Mr. Elegance and to everybody there from the Elegance brand. But it was hilarious.
