What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
What's up, everybody? You're listening on Busted Open After Dark. It's Denise Salcedo here, and we are breaking down everything that went down on TNA Impact. Let's go.
This is the Busted Open Podcast.
And I got to start off by saying that I enjoyed today's episode of Impact Wrestling, and I'll tell you why. It felt like a chill. Episode and I felt like every single match every single segment on today's show for the most part Gave me something to either ponder about or something to to you know Just have something to actually say about what went down So I got a little bit a little bit of say today about what went down on today's show So I can't wait to go ahead and dive right in so it's funny because as we were preparing for today's show I I was usually I try to think to myself, hey, where do I want to start off? What topic do I want to get into? And before we went on the air, Andre and I started getting into the wicked garden.
So you're probably thinking, what the hell is Denise talking about? What is the wicked garden?
What does Denise Salcedo think of the latest TNA iMPACT episode?
What is this? Okay, so we had a little video today where the righteous are in this garden and they challenged the broken hearties to come to the wicked garden. And no one really gave the additional information. Commentary didn't really seem to know. And that was basically it. But here's the thing. The reason why I want to start off with this is because my brain started to go crazy. I started to imagine all of the possibilities. And so even though we have no information as to what the Wicked Garden is, all I have to say is if they do this match, this better take place in a garden, all right? I don't want them to bring out no freaking... plants from freaking Home Depot or something on the ring or anything.
No, I want a real freaking garden. I want to be in a real garden. I don't care if it's cinematic or if it's shot almost like a street fight, but in a garden, I don't know. But this is one of the first things in a long time. where i'm legitimately intrigued with tna and i'm going huh if it's anything like what we've seen the hardys do in the past and i am expecting it to be done cinematically but instantly my brain started to go oh my god what are they gonna do like is jeff hardy gonna do a swanton off of the freaking tree into whomever into the righteous while they're in a big pile of of of sunflowers Okay, I'm trying to think what other weapons a garden might have. Garden hose, garden gnome, bench table.
I don't know. I'm thinking of all of these silly things. And that's kind of what I want out of this is I want silly things. Pots, there you go. Thank you, Andre. But is this appealing? Am I overthinking this, Andre? Or do you think that this is actually what they're going to do? Or is this just God knows what? Maybe this is just something else and I'm overthinking it.
okay let's let me be a pessimist first here so that we could get the you know the crappy idea that is still feasible out there out of the way it's not it's not crappy in a sense of it's a bad idea but rather there's another one i'd rather see but they could take the approach of taking over the whole arena in sacramento they're in or wherever they they're gonna do this wicked garden and just take it all over the place I'm not talking about put Home Depot plants here and there, but, you know, it could be the crowd is the garden. That's something feasible. That's something that you don't have to do anything hokey. You just need to get the guys in there, then let them tell the story, which the righteous and the hardy can certainly do.
But the one I really want is something a little bit more cinematic. Our expectations have to be total deletion, where the Hardys have taken advantage of the compound. They gotta do something here where now the Hardys are walking into the Righteous' garden, and now it's a field of flowers that they get to fight in, and yes, a whole lot of gardening tools. And the question is, will these gardening tools have names of their own? Because the deletion matches, each of the items there ended up getting a name, like Vanguard I for the drone.
