They did a great job of getting you psyched up and excited for SummerSlam. So we could start at the beginning with Oba and Brock, or we could start at the end with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. So where would you like to start, sir?
I think Oba and Brock has been the talk of the town on our show for a while. And that segment last night, the in-ring, and then afterwards backstage with Adam Pearce, I think we get into this first because they made it make sense. Because I remember saying to you maybe a week or two ago, If Brock does attack Oba, blah, blah, blah, and Oba decides to go after Brock, what does that mean for the World Championship? Like, how do you win the King of the Ring and get a shot at the championship, but then decide, no, I don't want it, I want Brock instead? And last night, in some very gentle, subtle ways, They did a great job with it.
I thought they did an excellent job because I actually brought this up to Tommy on our show yesterday. I said, I just brought it up as, hey, the different scenarios that are being set up here leading to SummerSlam. I said, what if Oba decides... I don't want to go after the title. I want Brock. Brock comes out on Monday Night Raw, and we set up Oprah Brock, and then we set up Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns because Seth has been mentioning Roman Reigns in his promos. And Tommy said, I don't like it. And I understand where Tommy was coming from. He goes, just like you said, you're going through the King of the Ring tournament. You win, and then you're not going to go after the title? You're going to go after Brock.
But you're right. They did a great job explaining that. And actually, Oba did.
Oba's like... Go ahead. It's how Oba followed up Heyman. Heyman did a masterful job of planting the seeds with Pierce. Because... Heyman is now in front of Pierce going, what we just gave you in the ring is bigger than any world championship match that could possibly happen. He went as far to talk about Oba and Brock main eventing SummerSlam.

And you could see Pierce. You could see the way his head was kind of down. He was looking down. His shoulders slumped a little. He was forced down. to agree with Paul because Paul was making such sense. My God, Brock Lesnar versus Oba Femi, the match of all matches, hell in a cell, SummerSlam. I just handed it to you on a single platter. Think at how good it's going to make you look to the higher ups being able to deliver a match like this. And Pierce is like, yeah, you're right. It was kind of hard for Pierce to disagree with Heyman when Heyman was being so convincing. But then we had to hear from Oba. Why would Oba Femi, a guy that just got here from NXT, a former NXT champion, Why would he want to go through the King of the Ring where the prize at the end is a championship match at SummerSlam?
That's the biggest thing you can accomplish in the world of the WWE is becoming one of the champions. Universal or Undisputed or WWE champion, whatever. And now you don't want it. Why? Well, it wasn't that Oba doesn't want it. Oba still wants it. And he said to Pierce, and I'm paraphrasing, the championship match isn't going away.
Yeah, but basically, I just got here. Yeah, I just got here. I got plenty of time to go after that championship. I loved it. Just in that little phrase right there. Boom.
That's all it took for me. Heyman presented a case to Pierce like, Pierce, this is the biggest main event you could possibly have. I just handed it to you on a silver platter. And now Oba's like, the championship is always going to be around. That match is always going to be around.
