Um, I think to find like negatives we're gonna have to like nitpick little things because Through and through. It was great. And plus I liked You know, the last minute ad of of Shinn and A J. Like you're getting a little bit of excitement there with it with an added match 'cause like three matches. Like what are we doing? This is Gonna be short and Or how much are they gonna give the main too much time? But I think adding that match added to the show massively. I enjoyed it.

And it turned out to be the match of the night and Maybe a match that we're talking about in December as a possible match of the year candidate to get two guys like that in the ring. And we all know AJ is saying goodbye this year. And I think a big discussion today with you, Bishop, is are we gonna say goodbye? To AJ Styles this week?

Like, are are we gonna see the end of a Hall of Fame career as soon as Saturday? Because if you look at John Cena who just stepped away and his farewell tour. Well without even talking about it AJ Styles has had a bit of a farewell tour. If you're paying attention You know, to see him in the ring against Cody, see him in the ring against Finn, see him in the ring against Punk, see him in the ring against Cena, and then to see on Saturday him in the ring with Shinsuke Nakamura, quietly, AJ Styles may be having his farewell tour in front of our eyes. Yeah,
I think there's a I think in the near future you're gonna see a lot of guys kind of on that farewell tour. I mean, you gotta talk about like Jericho, you're talking about AJ. You know, um And these are all guys that I think can go, you know, a Shin, what's Shin's mind at? 'Cause you know, he's been on and off T V for a while. Um You know, how many years does Punk have left? Like I think Over the next five years you're gonna see, you know, a a definite shift in talent for the first time in a while, like where it is a massive Exodus. But Um I was talking about retirement tours kind of with Big Show when we were driving up to uh Orlando. And it's like after seeing us, you can't I go, it's either going to set the standard, not everybody's gonna want that.
Or Nobody else can kind of do that because it's It was done so well with John. Like the back half of that retirement tour was amazing for John. And even up to the finish, like I loved the finish with Gunther, the smile and the tap. I was a hundred percent okay with that. And I know not everybody was, but There's a lot of guys. I mean, you gotta think Edge is coming up to a point where maybe he wants to kinda get a tour in for himself and all those things. But like I don't know if you can and and it needs to be more of a quiet one. Like if we're losing AJ, he's doing this perfectly.
Yeah, and and I think and there's a a lot of ways to look at this conversation, Bishop, and that's on the AJ side and that's on the Gunther side. Like you just said, you had Gunther beat John Cena in his retirement match. Now I love AJ Styles. I I remember here on Busted Open from two thousand to two thousand and ten. We gave AJ Styles the award for wrestler of the decade. Like I think AJ Styles has just been absolutely tremendous. But in the eyes of the WWE, I don't think this is any secret, they look at John Cena and they put him on a pedestal. Well, they had him lose in his last match to Gunther.
Yeah.
It doesn't make any sense that on Saturday at the Royal Rumble, AJ Styles beats Gunther.
