This is the Busted Open Podcast. We bring in La Meramera herself, the one and only the Thunder Rosa Thunder? How are you this morning?
Thunder Rosa 0:42
I am really good. A good afternoon. I think you said afternoon, morning. I don't know. Morning? Still morning. It's mo it's still morning. I was still morning. Good morning, everyone. I hope you guys miss me in the mornings 'cause like, you know, the day before I, you know, tell you how I'm doing and everything that happened this weekend. I really have to remember people and remind people that I work Fridays and that I still part. Oh, the you know, twenty four seventh.
Dave LaGreca 1:07
Yeah, well I mean and I and listen. I'm gonna I'm gonna say this and I probably shouldn't say this on the air, but I will. Oh. You know, when we start Pro Wrestling Nation twenty four seven, obviously we gotta spread the wealth across the whole channel. Yes. But I had to get somebody that was gonna keep coach in line. Because you know coach, he's got you know, he's got some strong opinions and sometimes a big head. So we have to put somebody in there with him that can match wits with, you know, a coach. And you do. And you keep him in line.
Thunder Rosa 1:40
All the time. I keep him humble. I always keep him humble. Like ev everybody works with me, uh Mike Russo, he knows. Like I look at Mike, I pop Mike, and I know I did my job, so That's it. We That's it. If you haven't listened to us, you have to every Friday on at from two to four. Yeah, two to four. Two to four.
Dave LaGreca 2:00
Yep. Yes. Off the ropes with Thunder and Coach. So love what you're doing on Fridays, but I love what you did on Saturday. So the I have a lot of questions, Thunder. First, like Okay. You know, eight months is a long time. So in that eight month period, like what was going through your mind? Obviously you were still a part of it and you were talking it every Friday here on Pro Wrestling Nation twenty four seven, but How difficult was it to come back this time around?
Thunder Rosa 2:28
It was very difficult. It um I was nursing multiple injuries but, you know, the main one, um, it was a pretty severe one. Uh I kept it more uh low key on that in in that aspect. I mean the last time I wrestled was all in and You know, I have a very direct relationship with my doctors and my therapist at a at AEW and they knew immediately that I was not okay and uh it was very, very scary. Uh I tried to focus all my attention on broadcasting. And doing all my side quests that were not related to professional wrestling because there was at times and I wanna make this very clear, I I was not able to um I was not clear to exercise like lifting weights and stuff for about uh three months before I was able to do it.
Thunder Rosa 3:20
And it took me about five months, almost almost six months to be able to even get in the ring, to be clear to get in the ring. It was it was a very tough time. Uh the first two months were very, very dark. There was moments in where I spent a lot of time alone. Um It was just me and my dog and and there was days that I couldn't even get up because, you know, uh some of the symptoms that I was uh that I was experiencing. And um and it changed everything in my body. It changed everything. My hormones, my my sleeping patterns, uh, you know, the pain pain, like having pain, chronic pain was uh one thing that I was experiencing a lot. So I couldn't sleep. Uh so there was a lot of changes that needed to be done, right?
Thunder Rosa 4:03
And um I needed to be patient. I visit so many doctors, testing. It's like people don't people just see the the ending product, but they don't see like The process that we have to go through and I didn't Um, I didn't post it on on YouTube. I didn't do any of that because I wanna really focus on
