Yeah, so my granddad, Dr. Mickey, he was a sub on the 1951 team. So it's something that we've always kind of treasured over the years, you know, that memory of him. been on the team and you know looking at his all iron medal every now and then it was always something very special and close to our hearts in the house um and you know he instilled i suppose that love of gaelic football um over the years and going to games and stuff like that so uh yeah look i think there's always this kind of story about the curse and he's always um strongly said it never existed it never was a thing back then and so they didn't pass a funeral No, certainly not. Not in his view. And I think there's been a couple of things coming out in recent weeks that kind of prove it as well.
I don't think there was a funeral even that time. If you're coming home from Dublin at that time of night, I don't think there's a funeral usually there. But yeah, look, it's not something we ever believed in. I think it's something that's kind of just grown legs over the years when Mayo never crossed over the line recently. This time, will you cross over the line?

I think we might win it, just like... If we get a few goals, yeah, and you might have Jordan holding the middle and Kobe as well.
