CamBro Conversations

35) What it takes for 3 brothers to row the Atlantic Ocean in World Record Time - Broar Brothers

27 Sep 2020

Description

Today’s conversation is with the Broar Brothers, Triple World Record Holders who rowed the 3,000 mile Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge in January 2020, beating many teams of four and five. The boys share everything around their preparation for the challenges, regarding training, nutrition, mindset and equipment. We touch on gut health, preparing for challenging environment and situations. We learn about the biggest challenges that occurred during the challenge, as well as being able to enter a flow state and how we can perhaps learn lessons from this to be more present in everyday life. Having raised just under £200,000 at this stage for their two charities of choice - Feedback Madagascar and Children First, we get a teaser of what the boys might aim to complete as their next challenge. They are also open to ideas, so any wild ideas please feel free to share!
