Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is an angiogenic factor that regulates angiogenesis by inducing proliferation, migration, and permeability of endothelial cells. VEGF inhibitors utilized in oncologic care include bevacizumab, sorafenib, sunitinib, nilotinib, pazopanib, and dasatinib.
