Most professionals focus primarily on hard skills that are tangible and technical, but the soft skills are equally, if not more, important. Soft skills are often neglected because you can't list them on paper. These include skills that are less specific to any particular vocation, but are more aligned to the qualities and personality of the individual.   While these soft skills are hard to show up on paper, focusing on them as you would any transferable skill will highly increase your odds of being promoted in order to advance and get ahead in your career.
