Peter Grimsdale is a British novelist and award-winning television producer who has made shows for BBC, PBS, and Discovery. As a life-long car enthusiast, he has made in-depth films about the British and Japanese auto industries, profiles of Stirling Moss, Alec Issigonis. and many other automotive heroes. His first book about cars is titled 'High Performance – When Britain Ruled the Roads', published by Simon & Schuster. Peter has had a long association with America, going back to 1974 during his time as a high school exchange student in New Jersey at Georgetown University. He got his break into broadcasting as an intern for Pacifica Radio in Washington DC. The mural in Peter's photo was painted by Mark Wickham, a lifelong artist who painted this image when he was only 17. Mark is now 81.
