Dr. Muskat has worked in a variety of settings in her 40 years as a social worker including 20 years at Integra, an agency that specializes in addressing the psychosocial needs of children with learning disabilities and being past director of Social Work at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Janet and Dr. Muskat discuss how the perception of neurodiversity has changed over time, the challenges neurodivergent people face, and how parents and teachers can best support these children.
