Almost immediately after detoxing from a twelve year methadone dependence, on Thanksgiving Day 2021 Mike Fiore lost his mother, the last person he felt connected to and who cared about him. After his mothers passing, Mike decided his addiction had already taken enough - it would not also take his mothers death from him. He decided to walk through the pain sober, and has spent every day since then constructing a life of sobriety centered around motivating and inspiring others.
