EP650 - Miroslav Petrovic on Speaking and the power of presence

In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to speaking guru Miroslav Petrovic. Miroslav talks to us about speaking and the power of presence. Miroslav Petrovic is a TedX speaker, teacher and facilitator who has worked with over 5,000 people globally supporting them to bring their message to the world. He is the founder of the Enlivened Speaking Institute where he teaches speakers how to go beyond didactic delivery to deliver their message in a powerful embodied way that is enlivening and engaging for audiences. Additionally, he has trained multi-national companies and executives with workplace culture and leadership. Over the past 10 years, Miroslav has had a rich and diverse speaking, teaching and facilitation career. This has spanned the delivery of various subjects from speaking, sales, meditation, yoga and photography across various applications and diverse audiences from conferences and schools to corporate wellness. In 2019 Miroslav completed an academic thesis with Monash University (Australia's leading Education University) on the role of embodied teaching and learning for creating more engagement within teaching dynamics. His message and 'off the beaten path' approach speaks to thought leaders, future visionaries, progressive educators and transformational leaders who are empowered to move away from traditional speaking/teaching methodologies and embrace a deeper, more conscious way of communicating through mind, body and spirit. He is fascinated by how we can be more fully alive with everything we do and believes that being in connection with our own personal presence is the most important, dynamic relationship we have in life.
