A classic soundscape of Oban harbour, starting with serving up langoustines, crabs and mussels in the seafood shack, a walk along the harbour wall and then a huge ferry slowly arrives. Towards the end of the recording, the throbbing drone of the engines blends with the creak of massive mooring ropes straining against the ferry's capstans. Recorded in April 2025 in Oban, Scotland by Cities and Memory.
