Good morning, everybody. If you follow the show, you know that I don't really do intros to episodes. I haven't for quite some time. I did many years ago, and then I've just started letting the episodes fire off. And right into the conversation. Today, for this week, we're going to make an exception because this week is a little bit different. There is going to be a Monday episode today, obviously, a Wednesday episode and a Friday episode. Essentially, they are all interconnected and they are all on one topic. And we are going to be discussing at length and in depth Robert's Ridge. In total, it's about eight hours, perhaps eight and a half. And I just didn't want to put that out as a single contiguous episode because I didn't know if anybody has time to consume that level of content.
So today, specifically, we're going to be talking about everything up to The QRF with the Rangers, with one chalk landing on the X and another one landing offset a little bit, coming in. And then we're going to have a break. And on Wednesday, we are going to chat with two Rangers. One that survived, I can't even begin to describe the evolution of landing on the X and what happened there and the casualties and fatalities that occurred. And then another one that landed offset and then hiked up combined 16 hours later. And then Friday, we will close it up. With Mitch and Brian again. They present the rest of what it is they wanted to present, and then we leave it back with the audience. Uh cleanup a little admin.
For me, one thing that I do at the end of most episodes is I'll ask people where can you be found? And I forgot to do so for this episode because we had been talking for so long. Mitch and Brian are working on, they have not yet published a documentary. It is called The Ground Truth or Ground Truth. And you can find it or will be able to find it at Groundtruthdock.com. That is when it is live. I believe, as of the time of the recording, and this was recorded two weeks ago, that they said it was going to be about two to three months from then. So sometime later in 2026, near the tail end of The year. What else? I think that's about it. I'll put that in the show notes, obviously, and perhaps at the tail end of the episodes as well.
Other than that. This is A difficult conversation to have. I already know up front that I'm gonna accused of being an apologist for the SEAL community and the SEAL brand. I hope that people realize, based off the volume of content that I have put out and the conversations that I have had, that isn't the case. I care more than anything about integrity and the truth. I and we open with this in the conversation, but I'm gonna reinforce it right now. I knew that Mitch and Brian were working on this. They offered me the opportunity to see the material before they came on the show, and I declined because I wanted to be presented with the material in real time and ask the questions in real time as if I was seeing it for the first time, which I was.
I considered that to be much more impartial and much more fair, if you will. Um, and this is going to upset people. And that's okay. Some conversations should. Accuse me of what you will, think what you want, believe what you want. But regardless of how this conversation went, whatever it was showing, whatever evidence pointed in that direction, that's the way it would have gone. Whether that made the SEAL teams look good, bad, everywhere in between. I wish I could say that war. It's quite ugly. And most of the time, it's not a choice between a good decision and a bad decision. You're choosing between two shit sandwiches, and which one do you want to take the bigger bite out of? With that. These episodes are already long enough.
