Episode 129: A Better Perspective on Injury & Rehab

02 Oct 2025

Description

On this show, Quinn Henoch and Zak Gabor riff on a few topics that all have to do with how we as providers, and how athletes view injury, rehab, and training as a whole. Have you ever had someone say to you - aren’t you a PT, shouldn’t you be able to fix yourself? Which is funny because Zak talks about how he literally just strained his hamstring 3 days ago, and goes into how he’s managing it for an upcoming tennis tournament. Or, do you ever get the sense that athletes and clients expect rehab to work in the same way that a mechanic fixes a car or an electrician fixes a light switch? A lot of times it just ain’t that straightforward.  Or take something like Plyometrics - we often associate that word with end stage rehab or for high level athletes, but is that the best way to think about it?    All of this AND more We hope you enjoy!
