His family took me in and I ended up living with them. Learned the language, learned the culture. And then we moved back to the States and we started a podcast.
Yeah, so it's great. What an American story. The podcast, because you guys are stand-up comedians, you are in movies, what made you guys start to do a podcast? Well, because Hollywood said no.
You know, I mean, there is a system here in Hollywood that eventually, you know, for me, it's like we have the Asian of the year. I was never the Asian of the year. Not once. Not one time. I was always fifth place. Right. Right. So it's like, you know, there was a decade, the Ken Jeong decade. Yeah, he won every year. Yeah, and then it was the Ronnie Chang decade. Then Jimmy O. Yeah, Jimmy O. Yang, right, right? I was always, like, fourth and fifth on the list. Damn. Right? So I never beat those guys out. So, you know, what does one do? You know what I mean? You have to create your own thing. But I thought, you know...
you know, you remove two or three, kill them.
