Description

[English version below] Sagart paróiste ar oileán Gaeltachta é Tom Connor, fear atá ag troid ar son pobal atá bánaithe ag an imirce agus ag an mbochtanas. Insíonn a bhean tí, Marion, dó go bhfuil sí ag súil lena pháiste. Caithfidh Tom rogha a dhéanamh idir a dhualgas i leith a phobail, a ghrá do Mharion, agus a chreideamh sa tsagartóireacht. Tá idir dhrámatúlacht agus bhriseadh croí i réiteach an scéil seo. Is ar an úrscéal seo a bunaíodh scannán Bhob Quinn, Budawanny (1987).
