AP Top 25 release brings some normalcy (kind of) back to our lives

Trey and Brandon Marcello have a laugh at the expense of the preseason AP Top 25, which features nine teams who won't play this year. Those teams — and their conferences — won't factor into the CFB Playoff race either, with the Playoff announcing its revised rankings dates Monday as well as its intent to forge ahead. Combine this all with the fact that college football is starting this weekend at the FCS level (Austin Peay vs. Central Arkansas) and that pigskin is being played at levels below (high school) and above (the NFL's latest covid-19 testing numbers are supremely positive), and it sure feels like there's finally momentum on college football's side.
