The transfer waiver decision that was announced two hours before kickoff

Chase Brown wanted to be a pilot until he found out that his football scholarship at Western Michigan wouldn't cover the $60,000 expenses of their aviation program. Then he transferred to Illinois to play with his twin brother and had to wait out a six-week transfer waiver appeal process.
