I mean there were some major factors like: Can I paint a mural that big and pull off the faces? How will people react to the subject matter. Will they embrace it, or fight against it? All real fears. But I will tell you what changed everything, the people I met and the stories I heard. That is what made moving forward one thousand percent worth it! Our Join Hands and Choose Love in Truth and Reconciliation Project in Partnership with Lloydminster Region Health Foundation and Yellow Finch Images has been the honour of my life. From start to finish it was pure magic, and that is the only way to describe it. Because every time I think about it, tears of joy well up in my eyes. Join me as a I learn more about Junell Saskatchewan Mother to 14 Children Travelling around the Pow Wow Circuit: Dancing, drumming, singing, and creating indigenous costume & craft. This is what it is to live a creative life. I was so honoured to learn and listen to Junell. Her outlook on life is a beautiful one! I recently painted her daughter's face on our 3082 sq ft Mural in Lloydminster SK. Her name is Jutearez Nahana Clear Water Thomas born here in Lloydminster Saskatchewan we still reside here she is first nation member of Mosquito Grizzly Bear Head Lean Man First Nation south of North Battleford she's 8 going to be 9 yrs old in October. She's traditional dancer of the Rocking Horse Group which consists of her older brother and other siblings.
