The question is whether this a fair reward for a team that questionably got exposed on Sunday with an unfathomable play call with the game on the line. They are seeking billions of dollars and, in so doing, offering up rare access to their books. The MLBPA is keeping a close eye with the CBA set to expire next year and heated negotiations on the horizon. It’s a battle of Goliath (MLB) versus Goliath (Insurance).
