Tamati's dodgy internet connection.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3JHqzwrtss...The interview took place on 14/9/2023Tamati Coffey is an award winning New Zealand TV Presenter, who took up the broadcasting career immediately after finishing an Honours degree in Political Science at Auckland University.In 2020, he was re-elected for a second term as a Labour Member of Parliament, pledging to work hard as a champion for Te Ao Māori in the Waiariki region, but for all New Zealanders too.He is Chair of the Maori Affairs Select Committee, who process treaty settlements and work hard on legislation that bring the Crown and Māori together as partners. He is also a member of the Environment Select Committee, providing a Māori voice as we seek to reform the Resource Management Act, including an advocate for reform of water allocation policies.Ingrid Leary MP became the MP for Taieri in October 2020.Ingrid is the Chair of the Finance and Expenditure Committee and sits on Economic Development Science and Innovation, having previously sat on Foreign Affairs Defence and Trade.She is Co-Chair of the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarian NZ Group, Co-Chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China and Co-Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Taiwan.Prior to Parliament, Ingrid was an international relations specialist, lawyer, parliamentary press secretary, university lecturer and broadcaster. In 2006, Ingrid received the New Zealand Special Service Medal for her broadcasting work in the aftermath of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami in Aceh. She is also a Fellow of the Rosalynn Carter Mental Health Journalism Center.
