Help Me Help You: How God Gives You a Helper Fit for YOU

What if you had someone who was specifically made to help you achieve your goals, dreams and your purpose? The good news is you might already be married to that person. Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, and the Bible has much to say about making it work.  Husbands and wives must be mindful of their spouses' needs and desires. In Genesis 2:18, we learn seven important lessons that can help improve our marriages. Genesis 2:18 (NLT) Then the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” Too often marriages reach the point of divorce not because of one explosive event but a slow dissolution that happens when couples aren’t intentional about connecting. That's why God said it is not good for man(kind) to be physically alone in this world. Alone means existing apart from, or exclusive of, others. We were created for community, and being alone goes against our nature. God designed us to need others and to be in a community with others. When we're alone, we cannot experience the fullness of life God intends for us. We miss out on the joys and blessings of relationships.
