Rockets Small Ball Will Result in Big Wins

Today on Straight Outta Vegas with RJ Bell, RJ and the guys discuss the Rockets small ball moves resulting in a big win against the Lakers Thursday night. Steve Fezzik says he is down on the Lakers right now given the rockets played such small ball, RJ disagrees with Fezzik because of Anthony Davis getting hitting his overs in rebounds and points last night. RJ said his instinct says the rockets shouldn’t win another game, but somehow this is a choice by a top GM in the NBA with Daryl Morey that may work. RJ also says the Rockets are 5-0 without Capela are 5-0 this season, including +14 point against the spread, on average of those 5 games. The guys also discuss the Lakers being title favorites following the NBA trade deadline at +275, followed closely by the Bucks at +290. Also, RJ says even though the odds are the same as the Bucks, the Bucks path is so much easier, so Vegas are implying that the Lakers are significantly better. The guys cap it off looking ahead at the first weekend of the XFL, with Steve giving his best bets and what else to expect.
