Maija, tämä koira on ihan mahoton. Bonus on taas syönyt vakuutuslaskua.
Se on bonukselle lajityypillistä toimintaa. Se syö Osuuspankin omistaja-asiakkaan vakuutuslaskuja. Luulisi, että vähän pienempi vakuutuslasku olisi sunkin maku.
Keskittäminen tekee bonusta. Osuuspankin omistaja-asiakkaana voit käyttää OP-bonuksia vakuutuslaskujen maksamiseen. op.fi kautta bonus. Vahinkovakuutukset myöntää Pohjola Vakuutus Oy. Henkivakuutuksen myöntää OP Henkivakuutus Oy.

Hey there, this is Gregory, and welcome to your bonus Friday check-in for June 26, 2026 on CPTSD. Let's make sense of this shit. Today we are keeping things short and focused, because these patterns often hit hardest right before the weekend. The goal is to understand why CPTSD symptoms can feel so chaotic in the first place, and then anchor them with two short practices that you can use anytime... Judith Herman wrote in Trauma and Recovery back in 1992 that trauma responses often lack the clear beginning, middle, and end of a single event, which leaves the nervous system guessing. That guessing shows up as sudden shifts in mood energy or focus, even when nothing obvious is happening around you.
Since those shifts are not random, they become easier to work with once you spot the underlying rhythm, however spotting it takes practice, and that is where the two anchors come in. We will start with a body-based reset, and then move into a quick thought check, because both together create a steadier bass than either one alone. Although the whole thing stays under 15 minutes, you can treat this episode as a standalone reset whenever the week feels off balance. The reality is these tools work best when you test them in real time instead of waiting for a perfect moment. Before we move into the first anchor, take a moment right now and notice how you are sitting. Start by settling your feet on the floor or whatever surface holds them.
Notice the weight pressing down through your heels and the balls of your feet. Move your attention upward through your ankles and into your calves. Feel the muscles there without judging them. Continue slowly through your knees and into your thighs. Spend a moment registering any warmth or coolness along the way. Shift next to your hips and lower back. Observe how the chair or floor meets your body at those points. Bring the scan up through your stomach and into your chest. Notice the rise and fall of each breath without forcing it to slow or deepen. Move across your shoulders and up the sides of your neck. Reach your jaw last and register whether it sits loose or tight. The whole pass takes roughly 60 seconds when done at this pace.
Pick one spot that stood out with extra tension and simply name it to yourself. Leave it as it is for now. In complex trauma, the body often holds the timeline the mind cannot name. Bessel van der Kolk explains this pattern in The Body, keeps the score from 2014, when he writes that physical sensations can store experiences the conscious mind has set aside. What your body just showed you, whether tightness across the shoulders or pressure behind the eyes, gives us something concrete to examine next. that observation moves us straight into the mini deep dive. The observation you just made about tension in one part of your body often connects directly to how these symptoms tend to gather.
