How I Made My Art While Having Four Kids in 5 Years

This is an episode for anyone with huge responsibilities and a huge desire to do your art. Yesterday I saw a lovely mother of three young kids attend my free coaching class. Here kids were right there with her while she watched the call. She inspired me to record this podcast. When you have a lot of responsibilities, the thought of finding time for your creative practice can be daunting. However, I'm here to tell you - constraint improves creativity. Being a mother of four young kids has made me a much, much better artist. I am more focused, I am more direct, and I am more honest with myself. I'm twice as fast at most things because I go directly for whatever I want. It's a complete game changer.In this episode, I tell the story of how I found time over the years for my art. Doing a little bit at odd times of the day really adds up. Every time I had another kid I had to be more creative with how I arranged my time, but there was always a way.I'm here to tell you that if you want to do your art, just do it. Start in the simplest, smallest, easiest way and allow it to build from there.
