9: Should you start a podcast for your online course community?

Send us a textIn this episode, we’re talking about whether or not you should you start a podcast for your online course community. I recently switched from blogging to podcasting as my main content marketing strategy and absolutely love it.  What I love about podcasting is that it gives me a perfect opportunity to connect with my audience. I feel that you’re right here in my office and I’m chatting with you on a 1:1 basis. Seriously? What could be more perfect than that??? There’s something so personal about hearing someone’s voice that you don’t get from a blog post. I also like doing podcasting over doing Facebook lives because, in my experience, it’s so difficult to catch someone on the Facebook highway. And when they’re so busy like me and you...it's almost impossible to catch them! But with a podcast episode, it’s right there for them on their phone and they can listen at anytime it’s convenient for them.
