#163 - Too Fast, Too Soon - The Put-uponness of Jennifer Capriati

28 May 2019

Description

This week, we once again look at the question of just how young is too young to force your child to be a bread winning, family supporting professional athlete. I think we can now safely say that 13 might be the answer. She burst on to the international tennis scene as a 7th grader, and quickly took the world by storm. She also began to hate her forced profession, and all that surrounded it, leading to years of problems & resentment. After a major career comeback, an injury forces her into a weird, dark place called "retirement", and a whole new round of problems!!   Come out of the womb holding a tennis racquet, be a world famous hero by age 13, then go mainly downhill from there with Jennifer Capriati!!   Check us out, every Tuesday!   We will continue to bring you the biggest idiots in sports history!!   Hosted by James Pietragallo & Jimmie Whisman   Donate at... patreon.com/crimeinsports or with paypal.com using our email: [email protected]   Get all the CIS & STM merch at crimeinsports.threadless.com   Go to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things CIS & STM!!   Contact us on... twitter.com/crimeinsports [email protected] facebook.com/Crimeinsports instagram.com/smalltownmurder
