This leads us into a discussion around our algorithms and how TikTok is just Tumblr 2.0. We reference this article by Charli Clement for VICE titled TikTok’s LGBTQ+ Discourse is Just a Re-Run of Tumblr. We only JUST spoke about eco-anxiety but maybe we should've waited because this week it’s been off the charts. The IPCC report into climate change has made many of us reconsider what the future will look like and if we want to bring kids into this mess. One piece we both resonated with was Elfy Scott’s article for PedestrianTV titled Climate Change Is Making Young Aussies Rethink Having Kids, But Do Our Leaders Even Give A Shit?
