That’s why we’re so excited to chat with the creator of Fangirls the musical, Yve Blake. The joyful, energetic and thoughtful musical is all about what it’s like to be a teenage fangirl. While the show has now (sadly) left Melbourne, we spoke to Yve about why she decided to champion teenage girls, how she wrote a musical with no training, and the importance of putting together a truly diverse cast.
