We are so good at being uncomfortable. It's what we've been conditioned to do - politely saying yes out of obligation, forcefully pushing yourself beyond your limits, not asking for what you need because you don't want to be an inconvenience... That kind of discomfort is a form of betraying yourself. How can you trust somebody who constantly dishonors what you need?
