ETSI Security Conference 2022 - IRIS Project with René Serral

At ETSI Security Conference 2022, Philippa Jefferies spoke to René Serral, IRIS, UPC, about the European H2020 IRIS project.  The IRIS’s vision is to integrate and demonstrate a single platform addressed to CERTs/CSIRTs for assessing, detecting, responding to and sharing information regarding threats & vulnerabilities of IoT and AI-driven ICT systems.  Philippa and René discussed what the project is, the use cases involved, including securing trams, autonomous vehicles, and smart infrastructure, and the importance of data privacy and ethics in such security projects.    Special thanks to ETSI for organising and hosting the conference, as well as Claire Boyer for helping us before and during the event.   During the conference we spoke to many of the experts and speakers there, talking about topics such as the future of security of mobile networks, the role of standards, machine learning, trust in security, and many more.   Keep an eye out for all our discussions from the ETSI Security Conference 2022!   #cybersecurity #security #TheStandardsPeople #ETSIsecurityConf #securitytesting #privacy
