Cyclocross Social Podcast: Van der Poel wins the Tour of Flanders, Pidcock extends with Ineos (episode 74)

The cyclocross social podcast is back for the 2021-22 season! Today Noah is joined by Twan to talk about the The Tour of Flanders! The main topic of today is obviously the ride of Mathieu van der Poel. Noah and Twan talk through the race. They discuss the dangerous group with Vermeersch, the attack of pogacar, the counter of Van der poel and some other interesting things during the race.  There is also a bit of time to talk about Dwars door Vlaanderen, where van der poel also won and Pidcock was on the podium. The second part of the podcast is about the womens race. Noah and Twan talk about the Kopecky effect in Belgium, Kastelijn, Persico, Brand, Vos and the absence of Van Anrooij. The final part of the podcast is about some transfers in the cyclocross world. Kay and RIberolle will both join Alpecin, whilst Pidcock extends with Ineos.
