The article then discusses four key strategies leaders can use to develop stronger empathy skills, such as active listening, perspective taking, emotional self-regulation, and storytelling. Drawing on empirical research, the potential organizational benefits of leader empathy are outlined, including increased employee trust, engagement, and well-being. Specific examples demonstrate how empathy has strengthened culture and driven performance outcomes in companies and other institutions.
