Episode 26: Chiara Bersani – The time it takes

Chiara Bersani is an ltalian dancer, choreographer, and artist. In this episode she also talks about her work as an activist.Chiara speaks openly about the traumas of Covid, about being a disabled person during the pandemic’s first wave in Italy. She does not only share her anger as a woman and as a disabled person in the current moment, but also her optimism and the possibility of rebuilding new and better ways for disabled people to be part of mainstream art-making.In December 2021 Chiara did a residency at Skånes Dansteater as part of the Swedish Arts Grants Committee's lnternational Dance Program. Her work Moby Dick for Spinn Dance Company was performed here in November the same year, as part of our DansFunk festival.
