Episode 7: Transit – There is no planet B

Get to know Tero Saarinen, internationally acclaimed choreographer and creator of Transit, this fall’s big dance performance with Skånes Dansteater, played at Malmö Opera. Tero shares his thoughts on his new work and on the process in the dance studio. Transit is an ambitious, multidisciplinary work with 19 dancers exploring the contemporary crisis of mass extinction and the world’s alarming loss of biodiversity. The performance is set to Stonework, Drifts, and Water Atlas composed by Sebastian Fagerlund and played live by the Malmo Opera Orchestra.
