What does “divine timing” really mean and why is it important?
Good morning everyone. It's 7 a.m. in New York City. Today we're gonna be talking about trusting in the divine timing of your life and what that really means and what divine timing really means and how it's been applying in my life a lot recently. If you're seeing this right now, it's for a reason. So welcome. My name is Liz. If you're new here, I talk a lot about self-love, self-development. I have a podcast called Liz. L Y S S on Spotify. Some of the episodes are also on YouTube. My passion is to give advice and help people. Also, I'm getting into music now, so there's gonna be some music on this channel as well, which I'm really excited about. Today I wanted to talk about divine timing. We tend to want a lot, right?
We tend to want a lot of things, whether it be the dream or relationship, the dream job, a certain amount of money, having certain health goals, fitness goals. We always want something. Whatever it is, there's always some sort of desire that we're looking for. Over the last few weeks, I've really been working on preserving my energy and realizing that I have everything within me already. There's no waiting period to get what I want. It's just a matter of how ready I am for it because you can't manifest anything that you're not actually vibrationally ready for. That's the issue we tend to run into when we want so badly and we're holding on so badly. We're blocking everything from coming into our life. We're blocking the manifestations and the blessings from truly entering in the most magical ways because we're clinging on to outcomes.
How does constantly wanting and “clinging” block our manifestations?
We're clinging on to the what Ifs, the when's, when is this happening for me? When am I gonna meet the love of my life? When is my career going to explode? When am I going to make more money? When am I finally? Gonna feel better, right? We're always waiting on the external. It's beautiful to desire things, it's beautiful to have goals, of course. But at the same time, if you're constantly monitoring when things are going to arrive and you're not trusting in the divine timing of how your life is supposed to naturally unfold according to the universe, God's plan, whatever higher power you believe in, if you're always monitoring. You're not actually living, you're not actually present because you're always looking for the next best thing.
A lot of what comes with truly loving yourself and choosing yourself is that you are living presently and you're not absorbed by this idea of when, the obsession of when. When you constantly question the universe and the timing of things, that's also communicating a signal of lack and that you're not trusting and that you don't have. Faith. What I want you to do if you're currently waiting on something, if you have this goal for yourself or you have a desire to be in a partnership or whatever it might look like to you, I don't want you to focus on the delay. What I want you to focus on is what is going on inside of me in the process while this is being worked out behind the scenes. How am I going to prepare for this blessing?
How am I going to prepare for For the next chapter of my life. Am I truly ready for what I'm asking for? If you're begging for it, you're not ready for it. If you're desperate for it, you're not ready for it. Everything happens in divine timing, which means it's going to happen when you're ready for it. Sometimes all this takes is an energy shift in who you are and how you feel, and it can happen overnight. It could happen as fast as you're vibrationally ready for it. So I'm gonna give you a Perfect example.
Why is being vibrationally ready more powerful than simply wishing for outcomes?
I've helped people meet their soulmate through my podcast, through my dating advice. After helping all of these other people, like thousands of women become more confident in themselves. I felt like I was left feeling insecure. Now I want to explain this a little bit more. I thought I was gonna be in a relationship at this point. I felt very frustrated because I felt like I was giving my heart and soul to help. Helping other people, and yet I couldn't find love. Anyone I would go on a date with, I was like, no.
