And he was he was grabbing his ankle and started yelling at Scott Foster or whoever else thing and they showed the replay three times. He wasn't fouled. You know, it was just like one of those awkward moments where he goes to the ground and um Cornet like just kind of trips up on his ankle as well. But Yeah, you're you're the and then and then obviously the Spurs did a great job capitalizing on that in transition. But you're thinking bad things about Jalen Brunson because even at that point, what was he shooting at the time?
He was five of fifteen. Right. Right. So it you know, he had he had some tough looks too. I felt like he was getting his some good looks in there. He just wasn't converting. I mean, I think one of my favorite plays is when he gets the offensive rebound, kicks it to Bridges, then Bridges right back. Back to Brunson buries a three. It's like this guy is doing everything. He's coming down, initiating every time there's doubles coming his way. He's getting to his spots and making tough shots, the energy he's exerting. And there he is on that play, getting a hand on the ball to create a second chance opportunity.
It just spoke volumes to his effort level in this one, getting banged up a little bit early. Yes. And then come closing time, this guy was unbelievably clutched.
Well, kind of going back to even what you're just saying, like the energy that he had in some of those moments.
