Um, what's the last couple of years been like for you, just like professionally, uh, from the Olympics, NFL, NBA on NBC, tennis? Like you've literally done it all. You're doing it at such a high level on the national stage, too. What's it been like? Have you actually like sat back to process? Like, whoa, I'm doing this right now, and I'm not even 30.
Yeah, I think uh you guys certainly I would imagine have a similar feel. Like when you're in it and you're in the midst of the season and then you're kind of going one season to another. You you don't really take that time to appreciate or at least acknowledge all of the stuff that came with it. But I think as each season ends, and I do uh kind of look back, you know, the Olympics one was so unique because I went that year, was my first year at NBC doing College football and NFL and then college basketball. And so it was a whirlwind in that. And then I had a couple weeks and then they sent me to Paris to do Rolling Garros the last year that NBC had it. I was like Paul Rudd and Friends, you know, they had had it for forty years.
And then I came in the last year and John McEnroe and Mary Corilla are like, What a run. I'm like, Yeah, it was great. You know, I'm just I happen to be here now. Um But that was amazing.
What were the biggest moments in Noah Eagle’s career this past year?
So I went from that and then I went to the Olympics. And then literally I called the two gold medal games. And two days later, I was on a flight to LA for a Chargers preseason game. So that one you did it just didn't have a lot of time immediately after to really sit back and think about it. And then A month after that, I was on a flight to Brazil for an NFL game. So that year was unique. But I think in a normal year where there's not the extra summer stuff. That's when I can take kind of a beat and really think back to the year that I just got to engage in and live and think back to the great memories and the greatest moments and how incredible it all is that I get to do it. Because that's I love that Ernie Johnson says it all the time.
This is a get to job. And I think that we all feel that every day. So yeah, I certainly when I can try to take those moments.
Is it everything that you pictured for yourself? Or is it, I mean, cause even when you mention all those things, I'm like, it's so it's so much. So much travel, so many different sports, so much. So is this where you pictured yourself being doing ever all of this?
Yeah, I think to answer the initial part of the question of is it what I imagined and envisioned when I was a kid? There's part of it yes and part of it no. I think the part that's a yes is I always just figure that once I decided I wanted to do this and not be a TV dentist, I just figured that this was NBA was going to be where I was going to be. I loved the NBA. I was an MBA guy.
