It was huge. And then for him to still hit two threes, he was two of four, you know, just really being patient with his choices, intentional with his shot choices. Um, would have had three if he got that and one situation, if Keldon Johnson hadn't pushed Mish Robinson into uh victor. Great challenge, by the way. Fantastic challenge and just a huge, a huge swing play right there where you Had those moments from the Spurs, where you're like, okay, could the Knicks get back in this one? They kept creeping. But yeah, putting Victor in all those actions and obviously having the game that he had tonight was like what the Spurs needed to do, what they needed to see.
Yeah, it was him setting the tone, but I also thought their guards did a really good job of getting in the paint. Uh New York had, in my opinion, a really difficult time guarding the ball at times tonight. Yeah. Especially in that first half. I know they had that big second quarter offensively, but man, it was like, yet, how are the Spurs getting some quality looks for Victor inside? It's because you're not guarding at the point of attack. We're getting some bad switches. So those guards are great. Castle, unbelievable tonight. That three he hit where the Spurs had nothing. Again, that was an example of it looked like poor execution by San Antonio. Victor has to like looks like he's going up for a three, realizes last minute's not good, dishes, and then Castle at the end of a shot clock buries it.
Like a guy you don't expect to knock down the big three hits the big three.
