Sabina Kelley: Why Women Feel Rushed to Have Kids Too Late | DSH #1760
16 Jan 2026
Chapter 1: Why do women feel rushed to have kids later in life?
I have a lot of friends that are trying to have babies like way later.
Chapter 2: How have tattoos influenced Sabina Kelley's career?
Really?
Chapter 3: Why is authenticity more valued than scripted entertainment now?
In their 40s? Yes. That's scary. Maybe it's because I'm in the entertainment industry. So a lot of women like they're just like career, career, career.
Chapter 4: What impact do phones have on children's independence?
And they don't want to have kids because they think that holds you back or whatever they think. And I think they start to get to the age where they're not going to be able to and they get scared. And they're like, oh, my God, I have to do it now.
Chapter 5: How do social media and parasocial relationships affect personal connections?
And they'll just grab whoever.
I was just going to ask you that because I hear this from women in the 30s.
Yeah.
That they feel like they're in a rush if they don't have a kid by then.
Chapter 6: What are the differences in media perception between Australia and the U.S.?
I see a lot of women like that. And so that, and it's also another thing too. Like I get people all the time that are like, you know, cause I post pictures of my husband and my kids and stuff. And that actually hides, not hides, but it like keeps like people from bugging the crap out of me and sending me all kinds, you know, stuff. Yeah. DMs of all kinds of stuff.
And it's actually, I have models message me all the time going, well, why do you post pictures of your husband and your kids? And I'm like, why wouldn't I? I'm proud of them. You know what I mean? It's my family. But a lot of women think they need to hide that if they have a boyfriend or a husband or kids and stuff like that.
I do hear that. Okay, guys, we got Sabina here, a Vegas local.
Chapter 7: What are the challenges of parenting in today's digital age?
Same initials.
Yes, we do. We have the same initials. It's awesome.
Yeah, but you got more tattoos than me.
I do.
You've probably lost track at this point, right?
I have no idea how many tattoos I have.
Wow. You still getting more or are you done?
You know, right now we're actually re-going over all my old tattoos and bringing them back to life because some of them are like 20 years old and see how the color's fallen out of this one right here? So we're like re-putting color back in to bring them, popping them and bringing them back to life.
Wow.

Chapter 8: How does the public school system prepare kids for real life?
Yeah. I noticed sometimes they lose their appeal, right?
They do. They start to fade away over the years.
Yeah.
The sun.
So how often, I guess, do you have to do that every 20 years or?
Honestly, most people don't do it.
Oh.
I just started doing it because of modeling and because I'm married to a tattoo artist. Yeah. Makes sense. So it's like, hey, let's freshen these up. Make them look a little better.
Yeah, in the bedroom just while you're watching Netflix. We're watching Wednesday right now. The new season.
