What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
Plastic has been infiltrating our life in crazy ways, like even your toothbrush, even the self-care products, water bottles, feminine pads, makeup, gum, workout clothes.
What are the hidden dangers of microplastics in tea bags?
That's the worst one, too. People are wearing these polyester, super tight-fitting clothes, and they're going in heated rooms, or they're sweating, and the friction is just... Our skin is our largest organ, so people really underestimate how much toxins can infiltrate in our body from the skin.
Okay, guys, we're at A4M day two. We got Josephine Musco here today. I just put her patented tea in my water and about to drink this thing. This is electrolytes, right?
That is electrolytes.
Okay.
How can women optimize their electrolyte intake?
But you also make tea and you make sleep tea and matcha. And it's all in a paper form. Could you show the paper?
How do microplastics disrupt hormonal balance?
So it's not in a tea bag.
Yes. Well, you know, as we all know, and we've been hearing on and on all over social media and podcasts and everything, that every time you steep a teabag in hot water, it's releasing up to 11.6 billion microplastics in your cup, plus 3.1 billion nanoplastics.
What detox strategies can help eliminate toxins?
And that's a lot of plastic. Not to mention the bleach, the epicloridine, and if there's a staple on that teabag, you're getting the lead. So we don't want all these toxins in our body.
What are the health risks associated with seed oils?
You know, everybody who drinks tea thinks they're healthy. You know, when we choose to drink tea, it's because we're healthier than the coffee counterparts, but you know, we're drinking a cocktail of toxins.
How can parents raise biohacked children in today's environment?
So I invented the tea strip and you just put it in water and it completely dissolves. There is no, nothing to throw away, no tea bags to deal with.
Wow.
What is the significance of health as a status symbol?
So you've officially made tea healthier than coffee then?
Yes.
That's crazy. Yeah. Coffee has a lot of mold issues.
mold and it's very acidic. It's like drinking Coca-Cola on empty stomach.
Wow. Well, I know you're supposed to drink water and coffee three to one ratio. Yes. If you drink a cup of coffee, you're supposed to drink three cups of water.
Maybe have some like olive oil. Yeah.
I know you're big on olive oil, right?
I have a patent on an olive leaf powder as well that is very high in antioxidants.
An olive beef powder? Olive leaf. Oh, leaf. Olive leaf powder.
And so the olive leaves from the tree, and I developed, I have a patent on that as well. I developed a process to dry the leaves where they create more antioxidants. Then we stabilize the antioxidants in them so they are stable and bioavailable for the end consumer. Because when you pick a fruit or something from the tree, it starts deteriorating, starts losing antioxidants. And with exposure to light, water, difference in temperature, those antioxidants really don't survive too long. So my process actually makes the fresh product create more antioxidants, and then we stabilize the antioxidants so they are not deteriorating.
Wow. Yeah, I have heard that a lot of fruits and vegetables at the grocery stores are kind of dead, they say, right?
That's why we should go to the farmer's market and get the farmer's market.
I love farmer's markets. And a lot of olive oil, apparently, too, in the grocery store.
Yeah, it's oxidized. You know, light plays a big role on the oxidation of antioxidants and phenolic content goes down tremendously.
Yeah, because there's also cedals in some of them too.
Seed oils are the worst. I know you've maybe heard of Benazade. Have you interviewed him?
I've heard of him.
So Benazade is big on seed oils, but also Dr. Pompa as well.
Yeah.
Seed oils stay in your body for over two years and they act almost like a, I want to say like a shrink wrap. So they come and they asphyxiate your healthy cells and they prevent them from proliferating properly and from aging. you know, rejuvenating and, you know, being healthy on the microcellular level.
Two years, you said?
Two years.
Holy crap. I'm about to try this water. I drink electrolytes a lot.
You have to take it a little bit more.
A little more? Oh, does it have to dissolve fully? Yes, yes. Okay. There we go. Yeah, now you can see the color. Yes. Dang, that's crazy. Well done.
Thank you.
I drink electrolytes, but it comes in like a package, so there's probably plastic in it.
