Joker finished the game with 35-14-13 with five steals and two blocks. Aaron had 23 with four huge made threes. Jamal had 20 with most of those points coming in the fourth quarter and overtime. And Cam Johnson had another great game with 17-6-7 and a plus-minus of plus 25, by far the largest on the team. Coincidentally or not, Tim Hardaway Jr. had a plus-minus of minus 15 24 in his 23 minutes, so my thought was that the coaching staff might have needed to look into the lineups that had him playing that night. 9th straight win tying the longest win streak of the Jokic era. Two nights later, the super tank from Memphis, Tennessee, came to town. The Grizzlies have lost 10 of their last 11 games since beating the Nuggets on March 19th.

That was when the Nuggets said, fine, I guess we'll play some defense tonight, and went on an immediate run. It's worth mentioning that Cam Johnson and Tim Hardaway Jr. were red-hot on offense in that period. The run coincided with the signature move of the Adam Silver-era NBA, The Grizzlies benched their three best remaining guys in Walter Clayton, Cedric Howard and Taylor Hendricks to make sure they wouldn't accidentally make this game close.
