during the summer the week behind us started when the trailblazers came to town the nuggets played well but the guests were scorching hot from outside the three-point line while the good guys couldn't find the bottom of the net uh out out there uh one of seven versus nine of seventeen created the four-point deficit at the first break in the second quarter the great outside shooting from portland continued with seven more made long ones
but this time around the Nuggets weren't as crisp offensively, so the lead grew to 14 at the big break.
The third quarter started well, but around the seven-minute mark, the Nuggets began missing open shots and turning the ball over, resulting in an 18-point deficit with two minutes before the last break.
The fourth quarter was when the Jets got turned back on again.
It started with Jonas making four of his five shots, but the efficient offense was nulled by the inefficient defense.
Joker entered at the eight-minute mark and the good guys turned the game over.
They started executing on offense perfectly and also made their defense stout, so they finally got their first lead of the game, not counting the opening minutes with 30 seconds to go after a very clutch corner three by AG.
They couldn't protect their two-point lead, had a chance to win in regulation, but Joker missed a last-second shot plus a tip-in.
In overtime, the Nuggets got an early five-point lead, and after Billy Kennedy announced his fourth coach's challenge decision, and I have to mention that each one was more flamboyant than the other, the Nuggets got the possession, which resulted in Jamal's dunk that practically sealed the win.
Joker finished the game with 35-14-13 with five steals and two blocks.
Aaron had 23 with four huge made threes.
