Hey hey, welcome friend. It's National Yellow Pig Day today. Something to do with math. Who cares? More notably though, it's finally Wakeeeper two night. Sorry for the wait there. Just so you know, our pal Rory wrote it like a week after the first one. But then we promptly went broke and couldn't pay for it. Lousy timing. We're back, Chester. Getting there, at least. Anyway, come on in, friend. I guess you've waited long enough. So tonight we welcome back our old pal Rory Dwayne. This one's the sequel to his Grimdark Western Waykeeper, which you can hear on season 10, Episode 9, an episode I'm very proud of. Here's a rundown. Our protagonist is a Wakeeeper, a mystical guardian on a quest for revenge. Bandits burned his farm and he lost everything. They slaughtered his family and slit his throat, but his would-be killer missed the mark. He rose, reclaimed his old badge, and crossed a haunted wasteland to seek revenge. Along the way he picked up a partner named Killer, buried what was left of his old life, and got his revenge in a duel of blood and fire. And when we last left you there were werewolves lurkin' in the black woods.

Destiny calls me to her side. And I feel the will of God within me. A way keeper's destiny is not a thing shrouded in mystery. We live and die by the gun. We walk hand in hand with death daily. Once I had feared death. Once I had been weak. Once. I had been merely a man. But alas, Wakeper. That tale is for another time. Let me tell you my story. The black woods loom in the distance, crows call from the misty air. And the ground is covered in deep thick tree trunks. The trees here are as ancient as myself. having seen a passage of time not kin to humans. We are alike in more ways than one. For my roots grow deep also. In the distance the werewolves barked their hatred of the world and This is the reason we have come to this forsaken place, as road farers have been disappearing on their journey to the encampment.
Drew Blood 4:51
Those venture into greener pastures. And as any self respecting way keeper knows. Werewolves hunt far and wide. And more importantly. In packs. Killer sucks his teeth. Surveying the distance through the scope of his rifle. Looks like a show death to me, he mutters. The other members of our posse are one hour behind. We have struck out ahead to scout. I told you once, killer. Hold no fear in your heart. And let God decide what is to come of your life. He nods. We creep along the ground. Mist rolling around us. Trees appearin' and disappearin' like pillars of ghostly apparitions. The land slopes upward. Come into a depression where the pack roams. They have a feed in the circle. Carcasses piled atop the other like sacks of grain.
Drew Blood 6:02
Shall we wait for the others? Whispers Killer. I shake my head. They will only be a hindrance to the Holy fuck. Killer Mudders. I think I just shit my goddamn pants. The latter was said because the alpha of the pack had appeared from behind a fallen tree, five feet tall crouched, thrice as large as the other werewolves.
